Ever dreamed of making a living with your words?

Amanda did too.

With hundreds of published articles—

award-winning fiction, and a

thriving freelance business, she’s done just that.

Amanda’s work has appeared in publications from LifeWay Christian Resources,

including ParentLife magazine and Open Windows devotionals, online at

Christiandevotionals.com, and four of her stories will be featured

in the 2026 edition of Angels in Our Lives published by Guideposts.

She was a volunteer food editor with Taste of Home magazine for nearly a decade.

Since 2022, she has worked as a freelance writer for The Exchange Media Group

and has contributed over 200-full-length articles to their Good News magazines,

a publication that exceeds over 50,000 monthly subscribers.

Two years ago, she was invited to be the lead writer for Good News Shelbyville

magazine. Amanda has also created marketing mail-outs, provided

tourism content for several chambers of commerce and written bios for

clients seeking to make first-class impressions in their communities

or on online platforms.

Since 2019, she has served as president of Word Weavers

South Middle Tennessee and, previously, as the president of Page 51,

an online Word Weavers group geared toward historical fiction.

Before launching her freelance writing career, she was the branch manager

of a public library in Louisiana.
